It was 1973 – back when things were simpler and a horse lover called Peter Horsey took over a local feed store in Williamstown. The store was originally located in Ferguson Street but Mr Horsey later moved the store around the corner to Douglas Parade. Mr Horsey was ahead of his times and the store developed into one of the very first health food stores in Melbourne and was called Williamstown Health Foods. Mr Horsey, with his beautiful wife and family operated the store for over 25 years. Mr Horsey was a true pioneer in the health food industry and his legacy continues. Current owners, Glyn Bennetts and Jo Sexton Bennetts are yet to rival Mr Horsey’s record and have only owned the store for just over 20 years. The store was renamed replenish in the late 90’s as Glyn and Jo believed this name encompasses the concept of total health and wellbeing. The store is constantly evolving and Glyn and Jo are always on the lookout for new products to keep up with consumer demand. Replenish is a much loved local, Western Suburbs, family owned, small business.
